Dr Linda Yen is an Australian trained dentist who graduated with honours from the University of Sydney in 1998. Since graduation, she has worked in hospital and private practices in Australia and the UK. She moved to Singapore with her husband in 2012.
Linda is committed to continuous professional education and was admitted as a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2008. She attends various lectures and conferences to get updates on the latest technology.
Dr Yen has a proactive philosophy to dentistry that is focused on prevention. From her time in the paediatric department at Sydney Dental Hospital, she gained experience dealing with kids which led to lots of families following her from young until they go to university in the private practice. Now that she is a mother, she continues to pick up more tricks to deal with kids.
Whilst proficient in all aspects of general practice, Linda has accumulated expertise for complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, crowns and bridge.
Apart from private practice, Linda worked in the SOKS ( Save Our Kids Smiles) school program, has been an examination observer for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and also worked as a clinical tutor in the restorative dentistry for undergraduate students at University of Sydney.
In her spare time, Dr Yen enjoys photography, music, food and Pilates. She likes to recharge by having mini adventures- staying in a Berber tent in Moroccan dessert, climbing up waterfall in Jamaica, visiting the clan chief in New Caledonia and swimming with jellyfish in Palau. Now her two kids are her greatest adventure.
Linda speaks English but is also fluent in Mandarin.
